Hi everyone,

I have just got a fresh diff and input gear, I have no shims whatsoever but is this a good diff setup? Sometimes when twisting it gets stuck and doesn't sound very smooth.

There is no slop in between the input and diff AT ALL diff does not move from position at all.

As it is all new, should I let it 'break in'?

Video:

Thanks

When your diff is binding in just one spot when it is mounted in the housing, you may check if you tightened the 4 ring gear screws evenly tight. It may not sit straight, causing a slight but disastrous wobble. That will kill the pinion in no time.
Thanks, it came from Jenny's and I have not opened up diff so will check tightness. It did seem to be tightening up in one particular area.
