Felony Disconnected receiver on Felony 6s and reconnected now will not stay bound to transmitter

Hello all,
I had to disconnect the stock spectrum reciever and then reconnected . When I turned it back on , the receiver orange light started blinking fast and the esc has a red flashing light. I can rebind the receiver/transmitter and calibrate but when turned the car off and back on , it is not bound and begins flashing orange again.

Attached a photo of how I have the servo connections with grey wire on the inside assuming the black wires are -/+

Yes, negative wire is black and goes to the outside. Servo in channel one, ESC in channel 2, right?
