Typhon EZRUN MAX10 Combo (2-3S) for my 3s Typhon ?

I want to me able to run my 3s Typhon on 4S for my speed runs so I was thinking about getting this package: I would to get some thoughts and options on this set up #ARRMAFAMILY?

This will not work that is the 60 amp esc. The one you are going to need is the max 10 sct esc which has a higher amp rating. Then you need to buy a lower kv motor. The motor that comes with the esc will get Smoking hot on 4s if it even survives.

If you get the 2s-3s version of the Max10, it will smoke/die if you run 4s. There is a 4s version, the Max10SCT. If you want to run 4s, get that ESC, if you get the combo, get the lower KV motor.

Yes. Amain carries them, but they are backordered.

I think the lowest kv option is 3200kv and that won’t take 4s very well not to mention it will turn the esc into a heater. The 4s trucks use a 2400kv which would make a wicked typhon since it has relatively light wheels.

Castle make a nice looking 2400kv 1415 that should be a great fit for the BLX3/4s trucks. But, I can't bring myself to recommend the Sidewinder ESC's, with that weak 5v2a BEC. I do love my Mamba ESC's though, but $$.

The weak bec kills them for me that’s the only reason I don’t like castles.
