I bought this house in 2008 and I found 2 of these ammo boxes in the crawlspace years later. Wondering how'd they do for battery storage?

I leave just enough of the seal at the latch end of the ammo can so that the latch still locks. Thanks guys, I removed the seals on the cans. Glad I saved these.
If not drill a couple of holes. Of course having an ammo box doesn't give a excuse to not keeping up with your lipo battery health. Always monitor them.Wow I keep my batteries in a lipo bag in one of these.. I never thought I’d be making a bomb I’ll get that seal off asap

Top advice mate, thanksIf not drill a couple of holes. Of course having an ammo box doesn't give a excuse to not keeping up with your lipo battery health. Always monitor them.
Get some of that seal back and put it back in the front of the lid so it still latches. If it falls out just super glue it in. No need for holes as the gasses will vent where there is no seal. Thanks guys, I removed the seals on the cans. Glad I saved these.
