Hobbywing 4985 on 8s

Do many run the hw 4985 on 8s? If so how's she holding up and how long have u had the setup.

I think @Mr.Duke runs his on 8s but I could be thinking of @Jimbobjr but then I could be thinking of someone else entirely. I have really bad CRS anymore.

never have done it..but 1650kv it should be fine with some close monitoring of the temps.i have run max6 an tp4050-2100kv on 8s in mojave..esc didn't break a sweat.very fast on 8s

I’ve run 8s since late 2019 with Boca ceramic bearings and haven’t had any issues. Just regular maintenance.
