Hot racing diff problems

Just assembled this hot racing diff. Everything went together and spins good but when I went to put the Motor module back on the new input gear is longer than the old and it won’t fit now. Is there something I’m missing?

Is this for a V3? The input gear is shorter on the V3 to accommodate a nut inside the slipper.

You can only use the input hot racing gave. It has a spiral cut. Guess I’m gonna cut it. Thanks

Pretty sure you just remove the nut.

@ stiles, did you ever find a fix for this issue? I just tried installing the hot racing diffs and ran into the same problem. Any luck on the fix?

You have to either cut the input gear enough to fit or cut the plastic nut that's inside the slipper clutch holding the screw in
