How to solder two battery connections?

This will be my first battery connection soldering and need two EC5 connections for a 6S. How does this work?

Picture is an example. From the ESC does the black go the negattve on one batt connector. The positive from ESC go to postive on the other batt connector. So where does the red wire go that connects both the two batt connectors? Must be the pos/neg still open on each connector....?

Exactly like your diagram, that’s a series connection. So if you were using 2 3s lipos you’d get 6s.

The red wire in the middle. Goes from positive to negative.
