You are correct you lost the screw that holds the steering linkage to the Ackerman plate it also egged out the Ackerman plate been there done that now mine are lock tighted if memory recall in my exb it's a m3 x8 m3x10 or 12 all will probably work here is the part break down for my kraton it's what I have handy ar721308
