Team, i was bashing my new infraction yesterday. Example of my style of bashing.. high speed runs apporximately 200` long with hard core power slides at the end of each run. Doughnuts & major drifting. i am useing 2 - 3s 100c 8000mha Zeee batterys.
yesterday while doing some serious drifting the Center Diff came Apart. the yoke on the drum side of the diff came completely out of the diff. all the gears in the diff will not even come out as they are siezed... note they still spin in place just i cant get them to come out of the diff.
my question is... What caused this to happen. and how do i prevent it from happening again.

also do i run the risk of the fron and rear diffs coming apart in the same way ????

Were you using the handbrake while on throttle?

That's one sure way to blow up the center diff.
i could have hit it accedentally. that sounds like what could have happened. when i opened up the diff the oil in it was like puddy / platdough. there was no oil in it to speak of.
if the E Brake caused this and i do not use the brake anyway, i will be removing the E brake

The center diff is filled with 100K diff fluid - so by nature it should be pretty thick. Arrma cars are notorious for underfilled diffs so you need to open them up and top them off before running.

also per the manual:

yes sir, it came apart on the cup side of the diff. the drive shaft was the only thing holding it in the cup
