Senton is this metal or plastic?

I have shredded multiple plasic stock spur gears, so I had a friend give me a used metal one. It has finally warn out, and i was wondering if this is metal. Also if you have any sugestions on upgraded ones, i would love to know.

Plastic, only the 4s models come with steel spurs.

If you need to upgrade your spur gear, somethings wrong or your on the throttle upon touch down. Bad mesh, bent motor plate etc.

Ill probably go to plastic, but for future reference, can i move up to a 4s outcast spur gear with out needing to change anything else?

I believe you'll need to add an additional slipper pad to the front side of the slipper assembly.
