Been absent here for a while as life got busy. The addiction is still there just keep adding different aspects of the hobby to the work bench.

If it wasn’t for that little kid we wouldn’t have any of these. We have an amazing time doing it together. He has a granite, Talion, Tekno eb410.2, Yokomo YZ-2 CA carpet buggy and on Sunday we picked up a used K8 rtr truck for him. Buddy at the hobby shop got it for a smoking deal and sold it to us at an very fair price. It needs a little love but the kiddo is stoked.
I know exactly what you mean about your kid. My little guy started asking about my cars and why I don't drive them much anymore and I asked him if he wanted to take them out. Brought out the LC Racing EMB-T for him to try and went to a wide open field to see how he'd do. Within days he had it all figured out and was hooked. Motivated me to get my Kraton back up and running. Got him a Merv for Christmas. Since then we've added a TA Rival MT10, a TA Reflex 14T, an HBX 16890A, and a Vorteks BLX. The two of us have been having so much fun together going out pretty much every afternoon and driving the cars. If he wasn't so stoked on this there is no way my wife would be okay with the amount of money we are putting in to this. I can thank my 5 year old for allowing me to get back into the hobby again lol.
