Infraction Large motor with smaller esc

Hey guys, I have an ARRMA Kraton EXB with a hobbywing 4985 1650kv motor, and and have a castle mamba monster x (6s edition) laying around and was wondering if I can run the large motor with the smaller esc in my Kraton,

Basically what I’m asking, is if I’m gunna fry the esc with that big motor?

The ESC will supply only what it can and no more. Of any motor. Not the other way around.
You may find yourself just needing to up you pinion size considerably, to get more speed and torque
