Assembling a metal dif on the kraton and just noticed the finish flaw. Worth replacing or just assemble and let it go?

If all the internal gears mesh well, I'd say run it.

Mesh seems good just curious if anyone has seen the finish or anything else deteriorate faster from this.

I had one like that not quite as bad. I’m running that. Mine was just a finish blemish.
