Senton Motor/gearing options/running 3s

Alright so I have been experimenting with different motor combos, I burt out the bearings on the stock spectrum motor, so I dropped in a blx3668, 2200kv and was ok, slightly slower, I now am running the stock replacement motor spektrum 3200kv and enjoy that.
I just ordered a spektrum spmxsm1000,3150 kv it’s $55 vs the stock spmxsm2000 that is $90,but nearly the same? Or not? Anyway I also am waiting on my 26t pinion and want to experiment with gearing and am thinking that would be more appropriate with the 2200kv motor? Want more top end! Because why not? That’s the joy of this hobby!! Any input would be appreciated!
Also if anyone is interested I dropped in a radiolink RC4GS v2, with a built bin gyro for $60! Awesome upgrade! Thanks in advance

On 3s ,4068-2650kv 22-26t.i use this rcgear calculator app for a round about gearing selecting.2.85 for the 1/10..not sure of your tire size

I'd go for a 40mm motor..alot more torque.4068 is the smallest 40mm.ive tried alot of different motors on 3,4,6s.

Does anyone have any input on the spektrum spmxsm1000? It seems nearly identical to the spmxsm2000 (stock senton motor) but it’s half the price? And much more available!

Following this as I’m curious about this as well. X1000 is significantly cheaper up here in Canada, it also appears to be a motor that Losi are using.
