Looks like NASA has chosen their four volunteers to test out their Mar's 3D printed habitat..

obviously, I didn't cut the mustard šŸ˜’ - https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/spacex-starship-launch-april-20-2023.61920/#post-927625

I was reading up on the filament type of the 3d printed structure. What is "lavacrete"?

As far as I understand it.. Those megascale 3D printers used to print housing can use any kind of aggregate for the mix in concrete.. So I'm guessing they are using crushed lava rocks.

It's definitely "fire proof". šŸ‘

Homes will be 3D printed in the future, can see it happening.

I remember the weird movie Cloud Atlas and the restaurant they were in would 3D print the food right in front of you.

Can't believe they 3D print RC fixed wing aircraft now, just amazing.

Funny reading about a Mars simulation though...pretty sure we're already living in a simulation.

I don't believe they have a rover on mars...so they can supposedly track a rover on some alien planet..but they lose a submarine in the ocean..makes zero sense to me. :rolleyes:o_O
