WIth any of the All road 1/7 platforms, the stocker servo is fine until it craps out. You don't need fast . You don't need high torque with small Hoons size wheels anyway. These are not MT bashers with huge MT tires, like a K6s for instance. And a very fast servo only works against you with this platform.
An expensive servo (170 SBL) is perhaps $overkill$ IMHO. A great servo nonetheless.
Necessary..,? IDTS.
There are many other areas/ upgrades to address first with your $wallet$. I would look to the drivetrain and chassis first.
I only say this for others considering......
