Outcast No reverse no forward but steering works why is that

Can I get no forward or reverse but steering works transmitter connects to the receiver hooked up correctly. LED on ESC flashes green I do the calibration an
still nothing.

Yes blx185esc. Yes flashes 4 times.

I'm trying it out now to see if it works.

I just found out that my on and off switch is faulty. Could that be the issue?

Yes, possibly if the program button on the switch is also glitchy.
