Hey all,
Had my truck for couple years. Usually drive it pretty hard but i was just doing some soft play and hit maybe a 3 foot jump at 10-20% speed so it wasn't much at all. As soon as it hit the ground the throttle stopped but the servo works fine.
Tried every tip in all the "help" videos....
- Checked the receiver - both the THR and STR are plugged in.
- Tried re-binding the SLT3 remote. no luck
- The fan works well

I noticed im no longer getting the Arma Chimes upon start up.

Is this a classic sign of the ESC going bad?

Thoughts?

Try a different battery and reprogram the esc.
Hell if you got 2years out of it that’s pretty darn good. Is it a stock esc?

tried new set of batts- no luck...

seems like none of the esc reprograming help videos or tricks to removing blinking lights of death work.

A working Spectrum ESC always made the distinct chimes for me upon hitting power button.

Another thing i noticed. When i pull the remote throttle 100%, im getting a very small signal to the Servo. its not turning the wheels but just enough to put some tension on the servo arm. I just don't want to buy a new ESC if there was a way this could be fixed.

Make sure your motor has not locked up. (Armature exploded)
And if you still run the stocker servo, this may be to blame.

>>>> Disconnect that servo and try the ESC again. See what happens.
