I've got a Granite 4x4 my truck will power on and the receiver will link tires will turn but when I hit throttle it does nothing the forward light comes on and when I pull reverse the light flashes but nothing moves as I am new to the RC world I'm not exactly sure what is going on I have it in the lipo setting started using the truck Christmas day but I figured it's kind of early for a breakdown sometimes I will get a humm noise from the motor but if my motor is toast I would like to go brushless but not too expensive as I will replace this truck soon with a bigger truck anybody have any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am a newbie to this

I would start with the motor, connect the leads directly to a battery if it turns it is good if it doesn't then it is bad, that's the nice thing about brushed motors is they are easy to test.

Were you able to determine what the issue was? The test mentioned above by slick is a perfect place to start.. when its powered on does the esc tone audibly?
