The new Hobbywing XERUN 2858 sensored motor and the new Quicrun 10BL60 sensored ESC will work on this.

Yes a sensored 1/14 scale motor combo sounds amazing.
You rang?

Any idea what motor size I got to work with if I get one of these? I've never messed with anything this small before. I have no clue what to even expect lol.
Its got a 380 brushed. I would suggest 2845 or 2852 brushless and above 3800kv depending on your pinion. I've done a few conversions on Wltoys and MJX 1/16 and 1/14 scale. Max would be 3s power. Anything more and you wont enjoy driving it.

Stock is 2 in 1 ESC...need a new brushless ESC and steering servo.

Where is the best place to get a new pinion for that? 2.3 mm is funky.
LC racing has a good selection of 3.175mm shaft mod 0.5mm pinions. That's what I use.

Hobbyaddicts carries them stateside or you can order from LC direct in China

Well.. I caved.. 🤣

I was down at the LHS and a lot of people are putting this into the Typhon (and Granite) Grom. Would have bought one for my Granite but, another guy bought the last one and was installing it in a Mini B.

One of the other customers was there with his Typhon and this setup. He ran it in the parking lot. Hilarious. Then he bought and installed these tires. We were all laughing. Looks cool. Just not sure how hot it's going to get. Lol.

Peeled all the lame azz stickers off.. looks much better now imo. Still want clear bodies for this and the granite to paint yellow.
