From what I’ve gathered on the search feature, the granite 4x4 blx takes 30w oil stock. I’m curious what weight people are using for colder climates. Right now it is 38 degrees out, it has warmed up significantly out. I ordered some losi 40w and 50w oil and changed out the stock 30w fluid. It seems like the shocks are softer. Also it’s hard to get an accurate difference because my shocks were significantly low on oil.
The higher the number, the thinner the fluid correct? If I want to harden up the suspension, maybe I should look into 10w or 20w? Or am I thinking this all backwards and need a higher weight oil?
Thanks in advance
