had a pretty successful day out but no new pb unfortunately with the dual motor car.
At least I matched my previous 191mph pass twice today tho.
Road was really dirty and I almost had a very bad wreck on the third pass, car did a full 360 in the road when a tire blew but was able to almost keep it on the road.
It jumped the curb and busted a shock and ripped two motor wires.

I seem to be stuck at the magical 191mph with this damn car, I know there is more in it tho

You’ll get it dude. Getting where you’re at isn’t easy. Getting faster than that is even harder. If it was easy everyone with a few bucks would be putting up those numbers. Glad the crash wasn’t that bad.
Should be a typo. Pretty sure all the SRD packs are 8g. They better be. I just ordered a couple of those for warm up passes. Couldn’t pass them up at $80 each.

Went out searching today for a longer road for my 4S build (Limitless V2) but had to settle and run it on a shorter road before I lost too much light.

Setup:
- XLX2, 1721-2400kv, 4S Parallel, Yokomo V4 gyro and Perfect Pass, 34t spool and 39t pinion

Some weird stuff with log, it climbed over 17v but I didn't over charge the batter past the typical 4.2v/cell

I did 121mph in about 1200ft

Weird. I would expect nothing less than 8AWG on high performance lipos.
Disregarde I thought it was the packs that I had. My 3s packs don't come in until today. But hopefully 8g

Its a mistake, I don't see SMC putting out SRD pack's with 10 gauge wires.. The earlier versions all had 8 gauge wire, no reason why the new packs would be different

new PB yesterday. Finally broke the 100 MPH barrier. A couple questions though.
Running
X8S
CC 1650-1717
32T Pinion
34T spool
Limitless V1, otherwise stock
CNHL 6.2A 90c 3S in series
no cap pack.

on a 27T pinion I was able to ht 94 MPH so I was thinking that a 30T pinion would get me to 100 and to give me extra headroom, I bought a 32T pinion so I was a little disappointed that was only able to hit 103 MPH.

On the gearcalc app it calculates 124 mph @3.75V/cell 37,000 RPM with a 32T pinion. However, I only hit 103 mph and 33,500 rpm. I usually take into account voltage sag and assume I'll get about 91% of what the calculator states. Am I missing something? Voltage sag should be about 3.4V??? Or is this the "expected" speed for the above set up?

Set your KV value for about 80% of the actual KV value (1320 in your case) to account for load. Should get you in the ballpark.

Your MMX8s data logs have all the answers you seek.
Voltage sag is the enemy of speed

Well I'm more confused. Got an 8000mah otw regardless though
My V1 SRD 3S 8000s have 10AWG

Without seeing the logs, it’ll be a bit of a challenge to see your issue.

My guess is it has more to do with the distance of your run. You’ll need to be on full throttle for a longer bit of time to reach max RPMs.

Yeah
I think run length is the issue since I don’t actually hit full throttle until it’s about 50 feet from me and I’m confident it won’t get airborne and hit me. As I gain confidence I’ll stay on the throttle longer. Car and electronics are setup the way I want it so I’ll see if I can squeeze out a little more speed…
