Guys,

I was browsing the TPpower website.. And was wondering.. Are they useing a different way to meassure the motors?

For instance..
The TP4050 inrunner (6D) - normally that means.. Its a 40mm diameter, 50mm long can.. Right?
But the specs read 40mm diameter by 82mm long..

Do they meassure the rotor to come up with their second number?

Further specs:
KV: 2200
Max amps: 118
Max voltage: 27
Max watt: 3200
Max RPM: 60k
Poles: 4

This can an option to replace my stock 6s motor?

For TP Power you can look at the first 2 digits as diameter but the second 2 digits are not a measurement but rather a series.
They often have v1 and v2 options where the final length is different.

In general a TP4050 is a good upgrade over the factory motor assuming the wind / KV matches well.
For what it is worth most factory motors and all Castle creations motors are Y-wind motors.
