I’ve lost three wheel pins now and wondering what I can do to fix this issue. It appears that my left rear wheel has stripped where the nut is. See photo. Not sure how I managed to do this as I’ve been careful when tightening the nuts and it’s only happening on this wheel. Also the wheel nut didn’t come lose when the wheel came off! I’m very confused 
Can this be remedied or do I need to buy a new wheel?
This happened today while driving on a pebbly beach. It was not overtightened before it was driven.
