I tired the search but couldn't find anything..

Do any of you know what are the weights of the Typhon 6s chassis the V5, V4 and the TLR..!!
Looking to build a lightweight Typhon and want to start with lightest chassis I can.
I know M2C do the speed run lightweight version that's 279g

Thx in advance

I just looked and can only find weights for specific builds. I would assume that the stock non-EXB or the TLR would be lightest. Have you considered the Scorched carbon chassis? It’s even on sale right now.

Plus, you’re in the UK!

don't have a new v4 chassis to check.. but here are the weights for the v5 & TLR.

Thx for the link bro - I just ordered a couple!
I have two different flavors of those, they’re fantastic. Wish mine were only $130.00 each!

@Dan B. You have these, what are they like???
Porn for gearheads. Meticulous, gorgeous machining of the 7075-T6 bulkhead kick up, buttons on the rear for the droop screws, perfectly drilled holes on the standard chassis for all components, and additional (perfectly drilled) holes on the full length chassis to accommodate flipped motor mounts and alternate servo orientations. All in a resplendently beautiful carbon fibre base. Wood. Total wood.

Yeah forgot about the Scortched CF chassis. If weight matters.
All I know is that on average the TLRT, just as a stock roller ( no electrics), is on average 1 full pound heavier than most any Kit built Race brand roller platform.
I imagine your target weight reduction is realistic if you can shave off aprox 1 pound.
Not sure what your target weight is. I just never saw any legit track Brand Buggy with a CF chassis. They all run Alloy chassis.
Not a big CF Chassis guy when it comes to Offroad 1/8 platforms. But Towers yes.
I think getting a whole BQ CF set would suit your needs best and first to consider. Using a TLRT Chassis. It is machined out very much. Probably the lightest Typhon alloy chassis to be had IMHO. How I would proceed. And some of the lightest race platforms will normally stay with Plastic composite Fr and Rr braces. A Weight savings there as well.
M2C Fr and Rr braces are so heavy and thick. More for bashing strength. Not sure how you plan on driving your Typhon. If I had to guess, the HR Fr and Rr braces appear to be the lightest alloy ones. FWIW.

Carbon can be your friend. Unless we’re talking toast.

Basically I've been thinking about putting my drag Typhon on a diet  so not a basher, so a carbon chassis wouldn't worry me too much.
I'm not sure if I want to spend loads on the drag Typhon, but that Scorched chassis on sale is just sooooooooo tempting..!!
Was looking at my Typhon earlier and looking at what I could lose, to lose weight ??
So far all I could see to lose weight was the tower brace and all its mountings, remove battery tray and RX box, trim or remove side guards and if I went mad I could replace all the cap head bolts with button heads as they are lighter :ROFLMAO:

TI screws are also one alternative. But yeah $costly$.

Moving to a v3 motor mount (and diff cover) will give you precious 45g.

+1.
But I just hate that V3 motor mount, compared to the V4+.
Still run the V3 one on my V1 Noto. only. Never knew it was lighter.(y)

I think to lose weight the quickest you would have to change all the drive shafts and drive cups.!! By that time you might just as well get a better buggy :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Don't Tekno Outdrives work?
I know they are machined lighter. And of better quality.
And short of using Ti shafts, I think the stockers are actually the lightest already.
