Senton V1 Senton Speedrun Build

Picked up this burnt V1 for a new build. But really undecided on what to do with it.. maybe a stretched Typhon, 1/10 scale Senton body on it, or GT build?!

I’ll take it apart and start cleaning it up in the mean time and see what parts will fit.

The newer 6S motor mount fits right up. Now gotta figure out the plastics

I've got a v1 senton that I've been converting into a speedrun car. Got sidetracked. Needed some work w/ body mounts, but may have that figured out.. maybe. Also was looking at front skid mounting, the body pan is a little different in shape on the newer cars.

Keep posting, I may steal an idea, lol

I’m thinking of getting a Typhon chassis to swap. And then 1/10 scale Senton body. Probably have to cut some plastic for aero like I did on my old Mojave.

Some parts ordered.

Looks like it’ll be a Typhon now.

Parts finally arrived from Jenny’s.. now to find the time to put it together.

Unfortunately, taking the front end apart to clean up and put the TLR steering rack on I found the front diff cracked.

Going for a candy orange but ended up with copper.

Doesn’t look too bad.

Starting to replace the old bearings with new sealed fast Eddy. Contemplating on putting the Limitless front end on this Typhon

Limitless shock towers on all mine..use 2 front towers on 1..they are the smallest..

What happened to this car? You still have it? That paint was beautiful. I got a serious soft spot in my heart for typhons.

I ended up selling it locally.

I get to see it as the guy runs it as a drag car at the local drag racing spot.

I need a Typhon in my lineup again
