Granite Widened Granite BLX broken axle shaft.

Has anyone widened their Granite with Big Rock control arms and now have problems with broken axle shafts?

You’re referring to the BR v3 suspension arms, right? The driveshafts used all shared through the Granite, BR v2, and BR v3 so they shouldn’t break.

What exactly is the issue? Are all four axles breaking? All at the same location?

I had a front one break at the outer u-joint area on the first run with the widened arms. It may had nothing to do with the arms.

I wouldn’t worry about it. The big rock is plenty durable with the wider suspension.

When I used to bash a big rock I had the same issue. Once the axles start popping apart at the joint they do it more regularly. I upgraded to metal axles (don’t remember the brand) and it quit but the metal ones sure are squeaky so you need to oil them where the two half’s slide together.
