since the big rock is 14mm hubs, do these just fit right on, or is another adapter of sorts needed?

You remove the 14mm and these fit right on. Not an adapter, it’s a replacement.

The one trick to it is to make sure you use some blue loctite on the barrel nut. They tend to back out.

I agree, I learned this the hard way. Even with blue Locktite mine still come loose every few runs.

Yeah mine do as well... Doesn't matter what I do... If not those then the bolt that connects the barrel nut to the inside of the knuckle comes off...

You'll be in great shape with the 10mm extensions from Hot Racing. There used to be a longer process that required two new parts but now all we need is the Hot Racing ATF117XT02 and good to go (besides 17mm wheels / tires combo.)

+1 make sure you add that loctite.
