I think they look good but can't imagine them lasting long at all so never bothered with them.

This one is the 4mm apex version, which is supposed to be the toughest, and I gotta say, its a pretty hard material and the adhesive is really strong. Once you heat it up its basically like a tacky glue.

is it stronger than aluminium though I have a lot of gorges in mine from running and jumping on really rough ground
