yes the limitless spool gears do work if you run a motor with an 8mm shaft. That’s what I use actually. The overall diameter is smaller compared to say a 25t pinion for the SBR. There are other brands for good quality spoil gears too.

I have since installed the castle 2080 fan on my motor. The hottest I saw it get was 180 but that was 15 minutes on an outdoor basketball court, and all of our cars were hot afterwards. Outside of that, my temps normally stay under 120, but I’m not sure if that’s the actual motor temp or ESC temp.
