Big Rock 100mph 1/10 build

My first arrma was this senton then soon after the big rock.didnt take long before I started modifying them.they both got same mods.
HR 17mm-10mm extensions
Typhon arms
Mojave t-buckle
Both got 6s systems that I mostly run on 4s.
Some other small mods here an there.my best with 1/10 is 78mph.not easy to do.did it with blx185 4068-2650kv 26t on 6s an never did get topped out.so I decided to give it another try.i wanna break 100mph without changing to mod1 gearing.so I stripped down truck an have ordered parts to try an reach my goal.the 1/10 with slipper clutch are a completely different beast than the 1/8.harder to put power to the ground.will get a baseline tomorrow.

This forum is only for the exclusive. I came back to add to my build thread after being gone for the winter and I find they deleted me. For what? There is nowhere on the internet for a person with little money to be comfortable talking about rc stuff. I thought this place was different but probably not.

Hardcore RC is attempting a 100mph BRCC as well. He has gotten up to 90mph but the parking lot they make passes at is too small IMO. Not much chance getting over 100mph there. He also uses a road, but for some reason intends on using the lot instead.

IMO its alot harder to reach 100 in 1/10.putting power to the ground w/o spinning out has been a challenge for me. Maybe the less weight,slipper,or just my driving

I ran mine on a beautiful open stretch of road. On 6s, it just maxes out around 80 mph with stock spur and 26t pinion. Wish someone offered a smaller spur that's a direct fit to the 3s slipper. Bigger pinion is the goal here. Not interested in creating a spool, as that would surely be the end of the plastic dif parts. As much as I enjoy the speed run element, my focus will be on the easily modified T6S and keep the T3S the way it is. Makes for a crazy parking lot basher.

I think i can get to 100mph with this setup.we'll see.a smaller spur would be the most profitable gear arrma ever made.it would open up the speedrun game to every noobie out there.alot of new rc guys would get a taste of extreme speed for under 500$.surely making the rc hobby more popular with 1 50-56t 0.8 MOD 32P SPUR COMPATIBLE WITH ARRMA SLIPPER ASSEMBLY.

If you're interested in a white Unbreakable Big Rock body here is a link. It takes a little while to get and costs around $60 but it's a TMT Unbreakable body

I think the white one looks pretty good, but don't know if I can pay that much for that body.

Yes,FedEx was supposed to deliver yesterday,should get other set today.ya don't think it would go to well like in pic..lol I try alot of stupid $hit,I wouldn't attempt running it like pic.something in drivetrain would have a nuclear meltdown im sure.i ordered golds for rear hoping for a little more traction.whites on front ,golds on rear.it'll look stupid, but I'm not going for looks,PURE SPEED IS MY GOAL!!!!!!!!!

Well if you wanna keep it on the road, a matched set is probably key. The differing rollouts would likely make the smaller set lose traction and skid. Either that or melt the slipper pads.

Hoons arrived..1st pass on 4s 63mph an lvc kicked in.(forgot to turn lvc off).2nd pass more of a steady throttle an was going good then blew over an tumbles galore.gnss flew our an came apart.think it just came unplugged.broke rpm arm.i think i need some downforce.try a wingi guess.fix an try again

Sucks to see the carnage but you’ll learn as you go. Seems like you have your ride height set a little high in the front. Try to get the nose down, ass up.

I didn't expect to have any problems till 80+,ill have it ready to go this weekend,gnss still good.put back together an working.got some extra arms,add some downforce an go again
