Great boat, I love the Animal cat. I got one last year and its one of my favorite boats.. I ran it stock for a while then upgraded the escs to converted Castle MMX8s units. Also changed cables and connectors to 8ga wire and 8mm connectors.. So far the fastest I've had it up to is 106mph with no issues, though I hope to get it up to 115mph soon, that would make it the officially the worlds fastest Oxidean Animal cat.. I have had two big 100 mph plus flips with this with no damage, it certainly is built tough.. Video link below, I think the second pass was the fast one
I met Bill a few times when he first started doing the fast electric thing at Fremonts Kaiser Cove Ca.
At that time Randy Naylor was the Go Too guy for FE & Bill quickly advanced the tech and application.
