Ran two 4s packs yesterday with the 2350 4268 Toro X8 motor. Geared 13/50 she is running a bit hot and finding the low end torque very good but not great :cautious:
So .... having an Overkill set up in the Typhon ( already swapped servo ... lol ) why not just swap the entire electronics from the Typhon and give the Kraton a more suited set up. Typhon always ran great on factory ESC and the 2350 toro, so back in it goes (y)

What we now have in the KRATON this:
Hobbywing X8 Plus G2 ESC
Hobbywing 4274 2250kv G2 motor ( MT spec )
Set up FULLY sensored with 40mm Rocket fan on the motor.

So now we can run 6S if feeling the need  being the Toro was max 4S rated, the Hobbywing can handle 6S
We're still planning on staying 4S, but the extra torque of the longer can motor should reduce throttle input required and ease off on the generated heat.
Being now sensored we can rock crawl as well bash ... winner winner chicken dinner :ROFLMAO:

Went back into the GPM shocks .... Polished shafts, made new collar bearings from PEEK that took out any side/side wobble. Made Better post collars/bearings for both top / bottom eyes. These were Newer shocks that have @ 5mm shafts !! yes the shafts are softer, but the shocks otherwise are built quite well. Added Dust boots as well.

Cool hybrid. You put a lot of work and thought it it. I went with a Mojave suspension. Arms, towers, shocks...the whole suspension setup on a V5 Kraton (lwb) chassis. Kraton hubs and stub axles to fit a variety of MT tires. I figured shorter driveshafts would have a less chance of bending under the increased weight of the build with Treal bulkheads, 4092 motor, Max 6 esc, EXB Mojave towers and HR diff cups.
