Granite $130 Granite BLX

hello folks. a couple weeks ago I posted a thread asking the value of a used granite blx. after reading all the replies and getting more info from the seller I decided to pull the trigger.

it was delivered a few days ago and I've been able to inspect it a bit and I am so happy I bought it. the rust in the original pics was superficial and only on the tip of the screws. after some simple green, a toothbrush and silicon lubricant she's looking way better!

I checked the wheel bearings and they are in fantastic condition, didn't have to change any of them, although I did replace one of the smaller bearings which was completely missing

for some reason it is also missing the driveshaft bearing + support, and has a cracked rear bumper which I have a replacement for.

I couldn't help but to try it out when it got delivered and I broke a front a arm (driver error, this thing handles wildly compared to my Typhon!)

after the a arms get delivered I'm going to drive her and inspect what shows itself to me! I was thinking about tearing the diffs apart, but with the condition of the car I doubt they need any attention. I swear this guy drove it a couple times then just let it sit. all the plastics are in great condition.

Whats the odd shock on rear?

Front left hex does not look right. Granite does not come with center shaft support but it does help. Handling will suffer with the mix and match shocks in the rear. Any way you cut it $130 is a great deal.

his cheapo replacement lol. I do have a spare set of rears, probably going to change that over soon

I will inspect when I get home, although I didn't notice anything being wrong when I was looking through everything. what looks off to you?

Good score, looks like a great truck. I got my nephew one last year and was really surprised by its performance. Driving experience was similar to my 6s NOTO. Total wheelie monster.
