Super interesting. Thanks for sharing. I'm eventually gonna be joining the 3D printing crew here one of these days. I used to be seriously into 3D Studio MAX many years ago. Even dabbled in Lightwave and Maya. I had this cool plugin for MAX that would add that spaceship-style paneling to any object. Was very cool and made it super easy to model spaceships.
