Just got my BR what 3S lipos should I look at as far as mah and C rating?

My fave is the CHNL 6200mah 3S battery. 100C.
Long run times and tons of power.
Only about 40$ and it's hardcase.

Why would it not work?

Just trying to understand. I know the wrong voltage will kill the esc. Wasn't sure if the amperage output would do harm as well

Nope the motor will only pull as many amps as it needs. Too low of a c rate can kill it though.

What @slick2500 said. The higher the mah the longer run time you'll get. Some will say there's more to it but, basically.

I bought a couple cheap Zee 5200 batteries for the Granite. Work great. But, when I got the Big Rock, they didn't last as long. Bigger, heavier RC. Bought a couple of the batteries @Luke66 mentioned. Awesome battery for the price. And great run times. You'll like them.

For 3s Arrma Zeee is okay, but CNHL racing packs aren't much more expensive and they are significantly higher punch in my experience.

I have this battery and some gensacearespammers bashing 5000mah and I also notice these batteries give a bit more punch. CNHL has good discounts at the moment.
