Might be wise to see if you can crack 150mph with the sub $1000 motor and ESC combo first (XLX2 and TP Power). Do the learning with equipment that is cheaper to replace.
I'd die inside if I crashed and destroyed a $3000 ESC / Motor combo

I feel with that kind of power you are going to exceed aero capabilities first. Especially since that is already happening with less then half that power.

Depends on the body and weight, if you run the stock body, probably around 195ish, if everything else works without issues. But I don't see that happening with current batteries and so on. Since the car will be super heavy as well.

Yea, i think i would need a nic case style body for 230mph running, i saw they also make a 55hp motor…
But as we learned from stupid Kevin, MO POWA!!!! Isnt always the best option.
But i mean…

Imagine going to a drag strip with a modified twin turbo Corvette making 1000+ horsepower.
Then put two of the skinny doughnut spare tires on the back and try to make a pass down the strip with that 1000 hp.

That is the scenario anytime you try to push over 15 horsepower through an RC car.

Manufacturing problems..... No ETA yet.
First 2 I got were garbage.

The manufacturer wants to give it another shot. We told him it needs to be really good or we are going elsewhere.
