Belted/non-belted tired combo?

Has anyone ever tried belted tires in front and non-belted in the rear? Would this cause any issues for the car?

I’d think that the weight difference may throw the cars balance off .. I mean if you’re only bashing it may not be a big deal but I don’t think I would do it.

Totally depends on the rig. If it’s 2wd it shouldn’t be an issue at all. If it’s a 4wd rig then they most likely would not be compatible, as the belted tires wouldn’t grow nearly as much at speed, resulting in uneven OD’s. That would translate into crappy handling and a lot of stress on the diffs.
