Good cuz i really don't like how it responds, and i cant even get the front wheels to lift up

Has anyone recommended this guy to change his punch setting? Or tighten the slipper ?

My sons granite on 2s will wheelie nonstop for about 30-40 ft on punch 5, 50w shock oil and meaty tires

I definitely found the punch setting before I swapped my electronics out. It woke it up quite a bit. The blx100 just wouldn’t go when I told it to. Specifically if there was anything more than loose dirt in front of the tires. The final straw was when I tried to push an empty trash can across the shop. Applied full throttle with the bumper against the can and she tried to go, then she stops.

I fixed it though. With money and swear words.

I know what you mean, I have noticed a delay in our granite as well. its all stock mostly. I have been researching upgrades. will most likely push the stock electronics to their grave then upgrade. glad you figured it out though! mine quits out like that occasionally, but I just switch the power off then back on, and it keeps going as it should.

If its a delay when you go full throttle and the car kinda stutters a second or 2 then takes off that's cogging issue and its annoying as a mofo swapping esc/motor fixed that for me, I installed the blx 185 esc and motor in my brcc and put in my mm2 combo in my notoroious, now every car I own can do up to 6s, tho im not pushing more then 3s on my brcc, id blow the tires up lol Duratrax suck....

I did more upgrades last night. RPM ESC bracket for a traxxas slash bolts right into both esc locations like a boss. Got the castle B-Link stuffed into the receiver box too!!

I can still remove the 1410 motor without pulling the esc, I’d have to mount the esc to the receiver box if I went back to the arrma 3200kv motor

1415 2400kv motor is good but the Sidewinder 4 will overheat with it.

I recommend the Sidewinder 8th combo. It’s my favorite. It’s basically a mamba monster 2 but not for extremely heavy rigs. Honestly I’ve ran one in my e revo with the 1515 2200kv motor that it comes with and had little temp issues. The mamba x is superior to the smaller Sidewinder series, but definitely not even close to the capabilities of the Sidewinder 8th. Just wanted to make that clear.

That’s good info right there thanks.

I’m just throwing things into this that I can. I didn’t want to go crazy on the motor just yet because I don’t have that much trust in the driveshafts on this truck yet. Can’t wait to find something better, or maybe the will hold up.

I’m running the 1410 3800kv. It’s the SCT combo thingy from castle. It’s not enough motor in the long run. I run this truck 10 mins at a time during my breaks at the shop I work at, it’s awesome for that.

Trying to keep myself satisfied until I’ve got that xmaxx.

Hahah. Aren’t we all!

If your Sidewinder 4 runs fine than I’d keep it there.

I’ve been running the sidewinder 4 with the arrma 3200kv motor for the past week. It’s awesome, no complaints.

That little thing has been pretty impressive from what I’ve heard? Is the case partly aluminum or something?

Don’t think so. Plastic body, I’d assume the heat sink is aluminum. I’ve got the sidewinder4 bracket for a slash 4x4 from RPM holding it down.

Ah, that’s why I thought the case was partly aluminum because the heat sink partly makes it. Still an awesome esc but if I were to build up a 10th scale, hey, I’d put in an old school MMP and some 3674 motor.
