Did you try plugging the electronics back in, and hitting full throttle forward/back a few times with the rear tires held to try to break the gears off one another? That's what I would do next personally. Or sticking a flathead into the slipper splines itself and try to wiggle it back and forth to break the input gear off the diff ring gear.
