Granite Brushless motor/esc reccomendations for arrma granite 4x4

Im looking for a good esc motor combo for my arrma granute 4x4 i want a combo that is fast reliable and can run 2-3s lipo i don't want spektrum because I heard it's not reliable

Hobbywing max10 has an old 120a (max 10 sct) version and a new 140a (max 10 g2) sensored version.

Could also hit up ebay and pick up an associated esc and 3300kv from a pro2/ dr10 etc for around $65- $70. Its a hobbywing 3s esc just labeled associated.

Gear conservatively if you go this route. I did this for a Senton build and was a little disappointed by the performance from the Reedy Associated esc on 3S. Also keep in mind that those ESCs have absolutely no programming options (if that matters to you). I also installed that same combo in an old ECX Torment 4wd that I upgraded. It works beautifully in there since it's a little lighter than the Senton, and I only run that particular truck on 2S. If you drop down a tooth or two from the stock pinion, I think that Associated esc/motor combo may be a quick & painless solution for you.
