Hallo, can the center bar be installed incorrectly? I mean, for example, does one side go to the left and the other to the right? Or does it not matter?

Not really, as long as it screws in, it should be fine.

No.
The bar is just a straight tube.
Doesn't matter which end faces which part of the vehicle.
