Ya think I would learn not to mess around in parking lots or city streets. Same damn thing my that put my Typhon 6s out of commission. Clipped a curb at full throttle an sent it into a death spiral. Machine took no other damage than the steering Block.

What's the general census on the replacement?

Stock EXB steering block (plastic) >$10
Or
Hot racing aluminum block (aluminum)<$40

Any one break or have experience with the aluminum knuckles?

That isn’t that much damage for that crash, I’d say stay plastic, and don’t clip the curb at full throttle. This makes me want to build a 6s exb.

I run GPM aluminums on my Senton 6s. It's held up to a lot of abuse, but I can't say the plastic ones wouldn't have...I just run them because they were there when I bought it and I didn't replace them when I replaced the control arms.

I have a bunch of different steering blocks across my line of 6S cars. I still think the cheap eBay aluminum blocks are the best bang for the buck. The HR ones use larger inner bearings, which don’t come in bearing kits, plus they cost a lot more. They are good quality, but the non standard bearing and the cost makes me prefer the eBay units.

For what it is worth I've broken everything on my 6s Outcast like a million times, pretty sure I'm still on my second set of hubs that I bough back in 2018. I've never broken a rear.

I tell people this when ordering a servo mount, even the cheapest eBay/Amazon aluminum mount will be an upgrade over the stock one, there is really no need to go out and spend huge bucks on that.
