Converting blx 4×4 from 0.8 to mod1 gearing

Decided to mount noto body instead,fits much better.used a tekno wing mount, drilled holes an mounted.this truck is much wider than vendetta.typhon a arms an HR +10 on each corner.

Bigger,stronger teeth ,0.8 only has 50t as smallest gear..need smaller spur for higher speeds

The 38t gear fits hub perfectly making centering all good..I just need to drill cleaner holes an bracketry
They also make a 0.8 gear..ordered a 36t to try

Here is another option for a spool. 32 pitch, self centering, easier build.

So my best ive gotten with max8 on 4s is 74mph after about 8 attempts.same everything except swapped in a mmx6s an ran a 79,78mph today...also pulled log....only pulled 130amps....I've pulled 208 amp with same esc in 1/8 typhon on 4s 99mph..only problem Is I'm maxed out on motor mount...so only more volts,kv,or larger tires for more speed without smaller spur..

Update.....ran truck on 6s 103 mph pb for 1/10..numerous 6s passes with no problems ..

Oh ya it's fun.i went up 1 tooth 27/38.its maxed..run it after I get off work in couple hrs

There's another member on here running a spool with 36t in his 137mph vendetta. I got one just haven't had time to put it together.

178amps on windy 105mph pass should pull off a 110 before reaching 210 amps..(max for mmx6s).
