This little project was requested by @Dan B.
He wanted to be able to flip the stock motor orientation to the other side by having a secure drilling jig/guide to help drill the new hole(s) into a stock 6S chassis for precise mounting.
Stock Motor Mount Holes are circled in Red.
When you flip the mount you use the two diff mount holes on the other side for the motor mount and need to drill the other outboard hole (yellow dot) for the mount. Then the diff mount on the other side is mounted using the two inboard holes where the motor mount was.
And, by having such a jig it would also benefit anyone who is wanting to create their own custom speed run (wider Infraction/Felony/Limitless) or stretched (eXtendo) 6S chassis from a blank piece of Aluminum or Carbon Fiber plate.
After getting the stock dimensions ,this is what I've come up with >>
Created a drilling template out of the specs along with the Center Diff cutout.
Added enough spacing all around to help give it some clamping surfaces ,to help secure it down during drilling.
Getting ready to whip up the first functional prototype.
