Deltaplastiks 1/7 Lotus body

Haven’t seen many of these listed here but I think it’s actually a pretty sweet looking body

I did this one for Deltaplastiks ..they wanted something clean and simple for the site

This one’s done in a custom Chameleon colorshift pearl I mixed up

I’ve seen people using different ones..I might try a few to see what works

I am venturing into painting a few lids and love the tinted window look. Do you use reg black? I believe I saw some paint the other day that said something like "tinted windows"?

Sorry if it's a dumb question....total noob at painting and just started researching everything about it.

I'd probably would have trimmed it down a tad bit.

Yes..there’s a special paint for the “tinted” look
Check out tamiya Ps-31 Smoke

It comes out looking like this ..the key is to use very thin layers until you achieve the darkness you’re looking for ..this paint pools very easily if you spray it too thick

Thanks!! Appreciate it! Super excited to paint my 1st one! I've gotta paint the lid for my SCT410.3 build, so I bought a cheaper one for another car to practice on. I can't have the Tekno lid being my 1st time!!
