Hello hope y’all are doing good

Looking to get some droop screws for my Arrmas 5th scales

Searched I couldn’t find much

Was wondering what options there are

Was wondering if these flanged screws would work better then regular button head

TIA

These below are what Droop screws are supposed to look like.
Many just used Button head hex screws. But they can damage the Droop ears of the chassis. (n) Gouging out the chassis area. Never use Socket heads. Smoother domed screw heads won't damage the chassis like Long Grub screws, Button hexed, etc would.

I think (2) droop screws are used with each Arm of an 8s Chassis. Droop set properly, spares damage to the Lower shock rod Ends. Prevents shock over extension stress.

I use these Avids for my 6s Arrma chassis.
Double check the length you need for 1/5 8s Arrms.

I don't own an 8s .

Or just search droop screws rc cars. Make sure you get the right thread and length

I used hex. I see the indentation it’s making. Will run it till it breaks then get a new chassis and do it the right way.

Those limiting straps are slick! Would you use them with the stock plastic though?

I had the same concern.. I use limiting straps on my LMT’s but those hang on the metal chassis plates. One has Heavy Treal axles so it was a must to keep the shock from tearing themselves apart.

My K8S has droop screws which I had to get creative to find. They seem to work well but my O8S has RPM arms so droop screws aren’t an option.. Guess you could try them out using the 8s plastic towers, it doesn’t say anywhere the metal towers are required. 🤷‍♂️
