Kraton Front input gear removal

How do you guys get the front input gear out? I’ve got the front diff out and the grub screw out of the cup that holds the gear but I can’t the darn input gear to come out. What am I missing?? 6s v5

Once I get the grub screw out the cup, I take a punch tool or anything with a flat nose and a hammer and tap it out...

I ended up punching it out with a hex driver. Thank you for the reply, though

I would have used a cheapo screwdriver before one of my hex drivers.

Use an old philips screwdriver or similar next time. Sparing your precision hex drivers of any abuse.
Excess Threadlocker usually causes them to seize together. Heat will also help next time. Be sure to clean up the Input gear, grub and Input cup well. Use Blue TL on the grub to reinstall. Be sparing with the TL. No need to gob it on. 24 hours to cure before running it.
