This GPM uses some sort of pot aluminum in their products and it is super soft and bends super easy.Besides instead of the plastic flexing you would end up with bent arms every time you hit something hard.
For the most part that is about all their parts are good for is for bling. I am running one of their diff cups and they are worth buying compared to the stock ones. My center diff doesn't leak anymore. Thanks guys. I think I may have been mesmerized by the bling.
I guess the dif cups would be a good, cheaper alternative, that don't take the same physical abuse that other aluminum parts would. +1 on this idea. For the most part that is about all their parts are good for is for bling. Maybe I was unlucky but the GPM diff cup didn’t work for me, gears were too tight even with just stock shims, ended up in the bin, I bought HR diff cups for all 3 diffs after and they are so much better than GPM was...I guess the dif cups would be a good, cheaper alternative, that don't take the same physical abuse that other aluminum parts would. +1 on this idea.
