Granite Granite v3 mega 550 cheap brushless combo

Ok i purshased a mega 550 for my son. After 15 min always overheating esc light blink red. Why i don't buy blx....?‍. Now i want to put a cheap brushless combo. Just run in 2s never in 3s. Which combo are perfect fit? Surpass hobby f540 3300kv 60a esc is a good choice? Or surpass hobby 3660 3300kv with 60a esc... are the same?‍ any other brand recommand me?

Just a couple things to note if you plan to ONLY swap the motor/esc to brushless:

- Make sure the motor has a 3.2mm shaft so the stock mega pinion will transfer
- 60A escs usually struggle with a 1/10 4x4 MT applications, shoot for a minimum of 80A, even better 100-120A
- Sweet spot for motor is 3660 sized around 3000-3500kv

I would get the BLX100 esc from jennysrc.com for $55 and then eBay or Amazon a 3660 motor with 3.2mm shaft separately.

That'd work great too if you already got one to spare, then just get a motor with the specs mentioned and you're golden.

I run the surpass hobby 3660 3300kv on 2s and surpass hobby 80amp esc work's great for me. running 15/57
